·         FINANCIAL  AIDS

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid package should be viewed as a supplement to financial efforts of the student, student's parents or guardian (s). Students are strongly advised to have their finances arranged before applying for admissions. Most colleges/or universities do not provide financial assistance to students and cannot be responsible for students' financial obligations.

EDUCATIONAL LOANS

The loans are supplementary source of funding for students and are awarded as part of a financial aid package.

MERIT BASED FINANCIAL AID

This is in the form of scholarships, which a student does not have to repay. It is a monetary award to a student where the primary criterion is based on academic performance.

NEED BASED FINANCIAL AID

The need based financial aid is a monetary award to a student where the criterion is not academic performance. It is in the form of bursary awards, which a student does not have to repay. The amount of money a student gets will be based upon his or her family's financial need.

WORK STUDY BASED FINANCIAL AID

This programme forms part of APMU need based financial aid. It is awarded to a needy student as part of financial aid package.

The package is limited to a self - supporting student in higher education. A student should not plan on earning substantial money from a work study-based job to help pay for his or her studies.
