 GRADING

 

 

We use the following grading in majority of courses:

 

Mark Range

Class Equivalent

 

 

70 and over

First Class Honours

60 - 69

Second Class Honours (Upper Division)

50 - 59

Second Class Honours (Lower Division)

40 - 49

Third Class Honours

35 - 39

Pass

0 - 34

Fail

 

When you submit assignment and is graded W, the tutor service will advice you to re-submit the assignment, and should be looked upon as constructive criticism and not an indication of failure.

 

EXAMINATION

 

In addition to continuous assessment, there is three and a half hour examination. You will take your examination at the examination centre to which you will be assigned automatically according to your area of residence.

 

To obtain your certificate, diploma or degree, you must meet the following three things, and the third element of the three things indicated below: -

 

 

  • Pass the continuous assessment tests,
  • Be registered as having fully studied your course,
  • Pass the mid-term and final examination.

 

 

WHY TAKING EXAMINATION?

 

 

  • It gives international credibility of your Certificate, Diploma and Degree award,
  • It proves that you have undertaken the appropriate study,
  • It proves that you are able to recall, choose and reflect on and apply management concepts in a pressured environment.

 

 

Atlantic Pacific Mission University, from time to time prepares international students for University of London External Degrees. It is important to note, that University of London does not offer any form of training or lecture for distance learners. Students seeking to sit for University of London External Examinations are responsible for finding an institution that will facilitate the training.
