The postgraduate course consists of 2 modules.
9 months

Non-refundable sum of
£300.00 (British
Pounds Sterling) must be deposited to the university before you
can start your course. You can pay the balance 12
months to completion of your course.
To
complete the postgraduate programme you must gain 60 credits.
The university will provide formative assignment per module at the end
of the learning periods to measure your knowledge and skills in a subject
area. You will study, write, take tests and complete tutor marked assignments
at the end of each module.
On successful completion of the required 2
modules and after achieving 60
credits you can be awarded a Postgraduate
Certificate in Project Management – Oil and
Gas.

The MSc in
Project Management with a specialisation in Oil & Gas is a comprehensive
examination of the elementary economic patterns of the oil and gas industry. You will gain an
understanding of the economic nature and structure of the oil, gas and energy
sectors and discover the project management aspects of sourcing energy,
energy distribution, and sustaining energy supply chains.
There are Six
modules cover core subjects such as Planning and Budgeting, Execution and
Control, Contracts and Procurement, and Sustainability. After completing the
Six modules you will then specialise by studying Economics of Oil, Gas and
Energy, and Managing Energy Sources. You will also learn
Organisational and Behavioural Management. An understanding of organisations,
people and cultures is crucial in the today’s multicultural workplace, and
essential to successful project management. You will complete
your qualification with an original dissertation. You should graduate with
the knowledge and expertise necessary to carry out project management design,
planning, execution and delivery on time and on budget.
Graduates from the course may seek employment
in senior executive management
within the oil and gas environment.
18 months
To
complete the postgraduate programme you must gain 180 credits.
The university will provide formative assignment per module at the
end of the learning periods to measure your knowledge and skills in a subject
area. You will study, write, take tests and complete tutor marked assignments
at the end of each module.
On successful completion of the required modules you can be awarded MSc in Project Management – Oil and Gas entitling you to use the letters MSc Project Mgt. (Oil &Gas) after your name.

applicant must be at least 21 years of age and must have one or both entry qualifications indicated below.

university or institution you will be considered for application
